I live in Boston, Massachusetts. You know the place: tea party,
aquarium, Red Sox...
This morning my wife got email from a friend asking if we wanted to
take the kids sledding during tomorrow's snow storm. Our friend said,
all the local media are predicting a huge snow storm with 100%
certainty. I'm thinking she's nuts. It's been unseasonably warm, in
the high 50s - 60s.
Being a resourceful Mac guy, I hit F12 on my MacBook Pro (10.5.1) and
sure enough, it's going to be almost 70 tomorrow.
Well, there's slush on my face...
In system preferences/Date & Time my Closest City is "Boston - U.S.A."
and the little cross hair point clearly at Fenway Park. But, Apple's
weather widget is serving up info for Boston, Georgia.
I feel like I need to mention, that this is a recent occurrence. I'm
sure I haven't been dressing for Georgia weather for the last 2 years.
