Re: Java games on safari freeze

are all these network home accounts logging in at the same time to the same server?

are you redirecting some folders locally?

are you running 10.4 or 10.5 on the server?

Any suggestions on this? -- a whole class will be assigned to go to a site
(like the MacMillan Math site) - if they all choose to play a java- based
game, the 1st 5 or 6 kids who get there can play it -- for everyone else it
freezes -- I'm wondering if this happens with anyone else? We're using
Tiger machines, WGM and Safari 3.2.4. I'm wondering if each computer is
writing something to the LDAP server and there's a bottleneck there? Or
would it be the site we're accessing?
