On last bit of detective work. I can get rid of the finder error messages if i relaunch the finder, but i can leave my app running. That brings me back to the start again. Everything works till i generate a new temp file, the finder then starts to give error messages again when i drag the new temp file to it. I'm guess i'm not cleaning up properly somewhere... where??? :)
