Filename from ImageView/Image?

I have an ImageWell UI element that users can drag an
image file onto. This works well and the image shows
up in the well.

I'd like to be able to extract the file reference
(path) that the user tossed in there so I can remember
it for later.

I don't see a way to ask either imageView or image for
the original filename (or URL) that it's using.

I looked into intercepting the drag information as the
user drops on the image well, but although I could get
the correct info in the concludeDragOperation: method,
there doesn't seem to be a way to set one of my
objects up as a delegate of the drag.

I'd like to avoid subclassing imageView.

Does anyone have any pointers on how to make this
work?
