Clearing Browser Selection

Okay, I've read the docs and tried a few things, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to clear a browser selection. I have tried the following:

[packetBrowser deselectRow:0];

I also tried the following:

[packetBrowser deselectAll:nil];

Can you NOT clear the browser selection? Thanks!
