bezier path redraw problems

Hello List,
I am trying to implement a bezier path from a graphic to the current mouse location, in the same manner as IB's control-click. I created my path, set the necessary rect as needing displaying, but nothing shows on screen. QuartzDebugger shows that the correct rect is being refreshed, I've tried various line widths, but no joy. Any pointers...
