build executable

might be a dull question:
i built my application and is the blah.app in the
'build' folder the final product?

it works standalone on my machine, but when i transfer
it into another OSX machine, the excutable give no
respond when being executed and quits without a
reason.

does anybody have suggestion? am i making a common
mistake? thanks!
