Well, that shows up a BIG hole in my localization knowledge. I had
thought
that the '0' decimal-type character set was universal. Oh well.
It is nearly universal.
The only exception that I am aware of is Arabic.
If you don't plan on having an Arabic localization, I don't see a
problem here.
(Anyone with an Arabic user base on the Mac, raise your hand. Nobody?
Didn't think so :) )
