NSTableView --- Cocoa Newbie

"Newbie cocoa user here"
I was wondering in a NSTABLEVIEW, how could I disable editing for all pervious rows after I have entered information into them.

I have tired looking in the Inspector files, but that only gives me the option to disable editing for a particular column completely, which is not what I need. Any guidance would be grateful. Thanks.
