Just for the record he did not. It was a mailing list message that the other Shawn had sent to the mailing via BCC, which is really annoying because it looks like a private message in your inbox if you use mail rules to automatically sort your cocoa mail.

I once read on (I think it was on this list), that you can use a filter like this:
X-Beenthere contains email@hidden


Then the email will be recognized as a message on this mailing list.
