Re: [NSApple setApplicationIconImage:]

We have an app in-house (not yet released) that performs an animation in the dock corresponding to percent-completion of a task.
I've noticed that occasionally the icon just doesn't change; relaunching the app always solves it, though. The code is pretty dead simple and seems to be executing normally (no weird error results or anything like that).
Could this be related?
(OS X 10.4.2)

Yes, I can confirm that this is happening on 10.4.2. It just cropped up
recently, but the code runs through setting the dock image, and nothing
changes. Killing the Dock does trigger a working update - I'll keep
watching to see if it keeps updating - maybe the Dock just gets distracted
with long uptimes?

I may be seeing something similar in 10.4.2. I'd put it down to problems
with my timer code to handle updates periodically, but now I'm wondering if
the timer's working properly, but the updates don't go through. I'll run
the app in the debugger and see what's the problem shortly.

Is there a known bug in Mac OS X (10.3.x at least) which could explain
why calling [NSApple setApplicationIconImage:] is not refreshing the
application icon sometimes?
