Help in Sketch

Hai,
I need help in printing the width of a line on its middle.I have made some
changes in sketch example of "Example/Appkit/Sketch" but its not
workingChanges that I made are a variable will be to receive the midpoint.
I called 
[message drawAtPoint:textBounds.origin withAttributes:attributes];
Its not working in the Sketch.What would I do ? Please help me
