OSAtomic.h

When were the functions in <libkern/OSAtomic.h> added to the OS?
I have a need for them, but none of the docs specify a minimum OS version. I've seen some information on them that dates all the way back to 2000, so I think I'm in the clear, but I'd like to be sure.
