It's understandable. Maybe he could be persuaded to switch another color
management aware cataloguing application who could, if such a thing exist,
import its iPhoto records? I was think of FotoStation v5 who, according to
my information, is fully color management saavy. Maybe Cumulus for OSX? I
have not seen advanced color management option in Extensis Portfolio v6?

Yes and no. Yes, it's a shame for the average computer user, but no, it's
not a shame for people like me ;)

Epson has a "color mind" of its own with their Print Image Matching system
-- is it theirs?
