I have been having this same problem in Jaguar (10.2.8). If the screensaver
kicks in I almost always have to go into System Preferences and reselect the
current monitor profile. This happens most often with the primary CRT (LaCie
22-III) but also with the NEC LCD I use for palettes. I hoped this was the
answer, but checking both profiles with ColorThink shows no problems with
the profiles. Profiles were made with basICColor Display/Eye One Pro.
