Hi,

I'm looking for a SCSI card which is compatible with the PowerMac G5 to connect a Heidelberg Linoscan 1400 scanner.
On the web site from Acard stand the message that the AEC-67160M Ultra SCSI card for Mac is compatible with the PCI and PCI-X slots on the PowerMac G5. The Power Mac G5 Developer Note from June 2004 says "5 V keyed or signaling cards do not work in the Power Mac G5 computer". In the AEC-67160M user manual I¹ll read "Power Required - Voltage: 5V ± 5%". This is wy I am not sure if the card is compatible with the G5. Can somebody inform me about this question.
