like I wrote before .. switching to 16 Bit corrects the values that showed in 8 Bit mode if I recall correctly so adding 1 isn't really something I'd like to do. Apart from that .. entering values should not be a problem with the scaling of the axis.
Let's just call it a bug :-(

I fill an Lab image with Lab 37, 45, 35 but the colorpicker shows Lab 37, 44, 34. This only occurs in 8 Bit mode though.
Can anyone confirm this?

Is it on Windows only?
No, on Macs too.
After some Tests I would say you have to add 1 to every positive
Value combination of positive a and b values.
I think it's a problem of 'where is the middel' of a 8 bit range
between 0 and 255.
