Greetings,

I am also overwhelmed, here.

I just want to be able (at this point) to print out
an excellent portfolio, of my beautifully retouched
images.

Frustrated with the Epson 1280, right now,
am finding it a Herculean task to even find profiles
and paper which work well with it, on Tiger.
(anyone on this list even remember the 1280?)
Should I even spend money on a rip for it?

OR should I give up the 1280,
and buy WHICH printer
with WHICH RIP, that won't break the bank?

I don't have much extra cash at the moment,
and need to get my portfolio out there.
But I also want to think in terms of the next few
years.
