Fortunately, this
feature doesn't seem to function with the newer Cinema Displays,
though
the side buttons are just as easily bumped when accessing the power
button...maybe more so.
Hmmm, unfortunately the F14 and F15 keys do change brightness on my
new 20" Cinema. In fact I must have hit them mistakenly at some
point. This thread got me checking and the brightness was a couple
"ticks" off from where I had it set at the last calibration. Not a
good feature in my opinion.
The side buttons on the new Cinemas can be disabled in System
Preferences/Display/Options. Too bad there is not a similar option
for the F14-15 keys.
