That has not been my experience: if I open up a CMYK image with a press
embedded profile to view on my calibrated and profiled Eizo CG21, in
Photoshop, at D50 white, I get a superlative match. So, I would not
generalize.

There were the SONY Artisan but I hear they're discontinued now? LaCIE still
makes, I believe, some electronBlue 22" CRT but that's about it.
