I'm not running Tiger as my regular system yet, but I have some recollection that there is some HASP4 update that needs to be applied for dongles to operate correctly.
I'm not sure, but maybe you should check out <ftp://ftp.ealaddin.com/pub/hasp/hl/mac/HDD_Installer_MacOSX_Tiger_only.zip> (yes, that's ealladdin ???) which I located on this page: <http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/hasp4/enduser.asp>.
Maybe someone who knows for sure can comment.
