I use Epson proofing paper, the semi-matte it seems to be well suited to proof for press. I use it on a epson 7600 ultra-chrome ink setup. I drive it with a perfect-proof rip. Got great results. I proof to Swop 2 standards. Hope this helps. Also if you profile any paper you can simulate the white of the target paper, uses more ink.
