Re: Paper for proofing

Roger,

my apologize for little bit ambiguous numbers in post.
But i really mean "+" values - all measurement of my Dupont papers is positioned in +b area.
My papers are two years old, maybe some months older, stored in original "metal" bag and paper box.
I don't know why we get as different numbers, but my paper really
appears yellow (under light box)...

Kamil,

thanks for your note,

My pleasure.

Dupont Epson Cromalin DesignerProof proofing paper / Commercial Matte Proofing
Paper
measured with Eye-One without UV : CIELAB 97,5 0,5 4,2

You mean -4,2 not +4,2?

measured with Pulse WITH UV: 96,3 0,53 5,5

Again, is it + or - 5,5?

Dupont Commercial Gloss Proofing Paper
measured with Eye-One without UV CIELAB 97 0,2 5,5
measured with Pulse WITH UV: 96,6 0,58 6,05

OK. I take it you mean -5,5 and -6,05.

So there must be any change in new version of Dupont papers? I don't have
recent sample ...

My sample comes from a box of 13x19 SuperB 100 sheets paper. It does not
specify the date but I got it at the beginning of the year.

But as i can see i am not very accurate in my recent note about Fuji film
papers:

measured with Eye-One without UV: 96 0,8 -2,8
measured with Pulse WITH UV: 96,8 0,3 -0,4

OK.

seems like "soft yellow cast" appear only in my perception ... so what i mean
is: "really not blue as others" :) :)

Right. Really not as blue as some others. I understand.
