OSX vs. WinXP for Graphic Design

I am not trying to start any flame wars or heated discussion here. But I am going to be on a local radio show (you could call it 'GeekTalk') to discuss graphics with the host and listeners. I have a pretty good feeling that Mac vs. Wintel will come up at some point, and I would like to be as informed as possible about any OBJECTIVE and FACTUAL information regarding advantages of one platform over another. Obviously, this is an Apple list dealing with color management, so my assumption is that there would be some good objective advantages of OSX over WinXP regarding color management. I am also open to any other points of comparison related to graphic design.

Just a brief about myself. I am an architecturally trained graphic designer (went to school for design, practiced architecture, then came back to design for the past 4-5 years - go figure). I have been an avid Mac user since 1988, but have also been knee deep in Wintel desktop and server systems since 2001. I have both on my desk and am quite familiar with both. I see pros and cons to each, but still prefer the Mac. My current list of comparisons involves color mgmt, font mgmt, security, innovation, GUI and overall design quality (the last three are admittedly much less objective). Open to ideas.

Please feel free to contribute any objective points or links to sites that you are willing to. I appreciate all feedback.
