Hi,
I just spoke with Barry at GM re: ProfileMaker under Tiger. Seems they have
had lots of reports of problems running the application under Tiger, 10.4.1.
Everything else on my system works fine, with the exception of PM.
The problem occurs just after calibrating and profiling is done - you choose
to either save the measurement data or build the profile and the application
quits. I have been able to replicate the problem with the exact same result.
GM knows about the issue, but the kicker, it's unlikely a fix for 4.x will
appear, since it's not the latest generation. Ouch. Have others experienced
similar problems with PM and Tiger, and have they found work-arounds? It's a
$1G upgrade cost for me that I was hoping to avoid for what appeared to be
minimal feature improvements.
