Dell Monitor

I have had several Dell LCD monitors for over 4 years. I find them
surprisingly consistent across the field, they have an adjustable white
point, and good color. Plus, the price is great (they know have a 24" wide
monitor for $1199)

Thanks for the response. I agree with your comments on the Apple Cinema
Displays. I hear a lot of people saying how good they are, but they just
seem rather inconsistent. If I can get the same level of inconsistency
in a cheaper monitor, than why not go for that one. ;-)

Is anyone out there using the Dell 2005fpw LCD in a color
conscious (if not color critical) environment and could you comment on
its performance? I recently read a comparison to the Apple Cinema
display, seeing how they use identical panels, though difference
backlights, is there a major difference between the two...other than
price.
