Input profiling software for linear color space?

I am looking for profiling software for profiling an input device in a
linear (gamma 1.0) color space (specifically digital SLRs). I tried
ColorEyes but it did not work well for this purpose. Also XLProfiler
although its algorithm seems to have room for improvement in some cases,
plus it is limited to one target layout.
	 
Any advice appreciated,
