> So ProfileMaker's ability to use an arbitrary target saves the day again! (in this case GMG's reduction of an ECI2002)I've also used this ability to make profiles from Monaco-formattedIT8.7/4 readings...> Funny that you mention it…there has been a recent
update to both Monaco Profiler (4.8) and Colorport (1.01) in which the IT8.7/4
has been updated to the final version. “Changes in the specification for the
IT8.7/4 standard target require changes in the random target layout. The color
patch values of row 18, column 26 have been switched with the color patch
values of row 16, column 16. As a result of these changes, IT8.7/4 Random
targets created with ColorPort 1.0 or with MonacoPROFILER 4.7.x cannot be used
with ColorPort 1.0.1.” And THE final version is available
from http://www.npes.org/standards/tools.html So, now Gretag needs to
update it’s format and all is well for this issue, yes? Michael Eddington North American Color, Inc, www.nac-mi.com |
