minolta multi scan pro color

Subject:	Minolta Multi Scan Pro color issues

All - I have a Minolta Multi Scan pro dedicated film scanner. it is about two years old. I believe that since upgrading to Tiger, color rendered by the scanner tends toward the reds and yellows. I do profile the scanner (using X-Rite's Pulse software and their color target chrome), and apply the profile in Photoshop post-scan. However, I am still not seeing the quality of scan that I used to see.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm wondering if the scanner is at fault, if there is some known bug w/ Minolta scanner software vis a vis Tiger, or other issue that I can't quite dig up. I have v 1.16, and use CS2. Color management is not enabled in the scanner software.

Please be as technical as necessary - I'll get help with the big words if I have to! :))
