Graduate Student Research Work

Hello All-
I am a graduate student at the Brooks Institute of Photography and am finishing up my thesis on RAW file workflow. This mailing list has been a wealth of information that is not readily available anywhere else.
To that end, I could use some assistance a couple of areas-

1) I need to get/borrow a resolution test target for the images that I am going to shoot. I have found them for sale, but I need this for a small number of shots and am working on a shoestring budget.

2) I am fortunate to have access to all of the major camera companies cameras(and now minolta has been removed from my list) and access to CS2, capture one and lightroom. The one application that I do not have access to is Aperture. Again, budgetary concerns limit me but I only need the program for a short amount of time. Does anyone have contacts at Apple that they may put me in touch with?
