Agreed, It’s a step up from prying off the keys with a screwdriver. Another crude solution…a non-extended keyboard without the extra function keys. Or (totally graceless) using a non-apple monitor. There might be some code-talkers out there who have successfully disabled or remapped these keys so they STAY remapped, but the solution is likely not nearly as easy as pulling the plug.
