Some printers here tell me they swore by Cromalins.

Swore by or swore 'at' Cromalins :-)
Also a point on the Fogra Media Wedge. The De proof pass is very
'wide' at:
Average De 4
Maximum De 10
Primary De 5
Paper De 3
For high quality litho I normally halve these figures as the
standard to
match.
