Re: Save to Web Color Handling

I recently turned in a wish-list of suggestions to Adobe, and the inequities
of color conversion in "Save for WebS" issue was #1. I apparently am not the
only one that wants a transparent conversion to occur first. They have heard
this from several others. I'm hoping they make a preference for what kind of
action is going to occur.

We standardize on Adobe RGB at my agency - and I do train all my interactive
creatives how to first convert. But of course mistakes can be made if they
forget, and not every person is color diligent. It would so enhance our
workflow if this would be come a more intuitive.

I don't know if this is helpful for anyone out there, but if you have users
that you need to train on color conversion for the web, but I recently found
a free little lynda.com tutorial on the new adobe/macromedia website. I
recommend all our intereactive creatives watch it and thought some of you
might be able to pass it on to your users/clients as a resource as well.
