I just tried to replace our 2 year old ColorChecker DC and was told
the product was no longer available and had been replaced by the
ColorChecker SG. Does anyone know why this product was discontinued? I
must admit that the profiles I generated from the original ColorChecker
chart were more often than not better than I got from the DC. I also
must admit my ignorance in thinking that more would be better ( like
beer! ) but that was not always the case. Can anyone explain the
science that went into the new 140 patch chart. Any feedback on the
results you have attained using it would be helpful as well. Thanks in
