This is on satin paper and I think shows that both printers produce excellent results, with the HP's RGB additives giving it certain advantages. You mention the white point of the Epson media is brighter yet you list the WP as “The HP paper had a white and black point of L* = 94/6, and the Epson was 92/5. Thus, the Epson's brighter white point contributes to the gamut volume a bit. “
Have you transposed the values?
