What ever happened to the SpectroCam? Doesn't anyone use it anymore? Is it not supported by the latest software, is that why? It was/is a very good instrument with 70 spectral bands and a pulsed Xenon light source.
regards,

Well, it's still (sort of alive), if you believe the Avantes web site <http://www.avantes.com/>. But it hasn't changed or been updated for many years (ie., no USB), the price isn't quite competitive with the Eye-One. (€1200 vs €995 per the websites), it doesn't come bundled with profile making software, and it won't do monitors in the USA due to patent restrictions (a spectro that measures reflectance and emission - wow, how innovative..)
