Re: New Printer Specs



Robert, ok, now tell me where I find the PPD file, where Joe User
needs to put it, how we tell Gutenprint that an Epson  2400 should use
this PPD (that it's fresh). Tell me how I can make several of these
files, with names coexist, and how the user can save them and recall
them.

I've already given you one answer: use the PPD files for that
purpose.  Take a PPD file, set its defaults to what you want, and then
distribute that.
