When reading percentages in Acrobat's Output
Preview dialog box, the numbers displayed are dependent on the simulation
profile selected. If one wants to obtain the percentages of a color as it was
created (without being converted through a simulation profile), then the only
way to do that it appears is to select from the profile list the same profile
that is assigned to the object you're reading. The problem then is trying to
find out what profile is assigned to the object you're reading.
There seems to be no easy way to determine this in
Acrobat. Is Pitstop the only solution to this problem? I haven't looked at v8
yet, does it operate the same way?
