I posted this a while back to another forum and got few responses, so
I’m wondering if anyone on this list might have some insight. Are any ISO 9000 certified shops out there are performing there own
calibration/certification on their instruments (Spectros and densitometers) in
order to meet instrument calibration/recertification requirements for ISO 9000?
For example, purchasing BCRA tiles or other reference material that's traceable
to a standards organization that you would measure on a periodic basis with
your devices to compare to initial results, and if out of tolerance, only then send
the device to the manufacturer for maintenance/recertification ? Anyone? Michael Eddington North American Color, Inc. www.nac-mi.com |
