I just received a full set of inks for the Epson Stylus Pro 4800.
and meant that I ordered and paid for it.
I wouldn't think twice about it. If I'm remembering correctly,
Epson has stated that the inks are good for at least a year after
they've been installed in the printer--I have a 4000 and while the
4800 uses different inks, I don't think it's that big a deal.
That said, if you paid for them (vs. getting them for free--it's
not clear from your "just received"), you might ask for a
replacement with a later expiration date. If you got them for free,
don't look that painted gift horse in the mouth...'-}}
I have to add that:
I ordered that package, because some ink cartridges are going to get
empty sometime
in the future and I want to have some spare.
On the other hand, chances are high that I don't have to exchange
that mentioned cartridge
before August, and then the use before date is exceeded.
