Nothing muddy here. I want better results than Photoshop can produce when converting images. I get better results using Argyll.
Big differences here. For completeness, please provide profiles and PS
steps and ArgyllCMS command line to reproduce your results.

The printer profile is embedded in the images above. The options for converting in Photoshop are limited by the profile construction. Although it is worth noting that BPC works in Perceptual but I didn't use it.
