Oh, I tried Rosetta, but that's not the issue. Actually, X-Rite is really not behind the times... Most of their software is 10.6.2 compatible, including ProfileMaker, Match, MeasureTool, ColorChecker Passport, ColorMunki, and so on. http://www.xrite.com/support_doc.aspx?supportid=5041 The issue is clearly with HP. --Rich Wagner On Mar 26, 2010, Doyle Yoder <email@hidden> wrote: > You did not mention if you installed Rosetta? > > X-Rite is so far behind the times that all (I think) their software is still compiled for PowerPC architecture so unless you install Rosetta it is nor going to run with 10.6. > > Doyle > > On Mar 25, 2010, at 3:42 PM, Richard Wagner wrote: > >> I just wasted over 90 minutes on the phone with HP Tech Support. >> >> To make a long story short, the recently released HP DreamColor Advanced Profiling Solution software (v1.1.0, released on 2/2/2010 by X-Rite) for the custom Display 2 colorimeter will not run on OS 10.6.2. Of course, neither will the old v1.0.2 software, which means that at the current time, it is not possible to calibrate and profile this monitor using the DDC controls. (It is possible to use an i1 Pro and Match to profile only.) > _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
