Output card

Great, I think I have most of my questions answered about the output capability of Apple systems.

The last piece is the hardware. I am currently looking at the MOTU 24i/o, but I have no need for sound input. Is there a respected card designed for mutli-channel sound output that is not intended to be a mixing board?
