Pitch bend range setting in QuickTime Musical Architecture

I'm using the QuickTime Musical Architecture (using NANewNoteChannel, NAPlayNote.... kind of API) and trying to set the Pitch bend range. The MIDI specification says that Pitch bend range can be setup using Register Parameter type of Midi messages.

Is this supported in QTMA? And if yes what is the APi that should be used?
