Cant get AU using v1.2 Project Templates to build

Hi list,

I recently downloaded the AudioUnit Project Templates from http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/AudioUnitEffectTemplates/AudioUnitEffectTemplates.html but I've found some problems. First, the GUI-less AU doesn't build because the paths for English.lproj/strings.plist were incorrect, this was easy enough to fix.

The AU as it comes then built ok, but wasn't listed when running AUVal, and also didn't show up in any AudioUnit hosts. I managed to fix this last night after searching the list archives in Mail, someone mentioned some compiler flags that where wrong in XCode 1.2, I think it was OTHER_REZ_FLAGS, which fixed the problem for me.

However I can't find that information now, my Mac is no longer available and searching for that info no longer shows up hits in Google or the CoreAudio list archives on Apple's site. Could someone please tell me what I need to do to get the AU Project Templates to build a valid AU that shows up in AUVal!
