There have been some comments on the list about these in the past -
have a look through the list archives. We don't have specific
documentation on these, though there is some posting at
developer.apple.com/audio about general characteristics of Apple's
AUs (or at least I think this should be available), including the net
send/receive.
We are planning on getting something written about this
