MatrixMixer input bus connection info

Hi!


What is the simplest way to get information from a MatrixMixer input bus
about what, if any, AudioUnit is connected to it?

I am dynamically connecting and disconnecting AudioUnits to a MatrixMixer
and I am looking for a way to find the first "free" input bus that is
currently not connected.
