Re: Noisy DefaultOutputUnit

2) What is causing the slowly modulated popping signal sans attack/ decay factor?

This one I figured out. It had very little to do with the program. With no attack/decay factor there is a certain amount of natural pop that was causing the speaker grill to vibrate and create its own signal that was overlaying the generated signal. The mechanical aspects of the speaker grill on the MacBook Pro produced a modulated signal that had me quite perplexed until I noticed the cessation of noise when I picked up the computer. With the attack/delay factor applied, the speaker grill vibrated much less.

Scratch this one off the list.
