I tried the AQOfflineRenderTest for converting from 16 bit PCM 2
channels 44100 to AppleLossless,
the original file size is 1.1MB but the Lossless is is 1.5MB ?
i only changed the dstFormat.mFormatID = kAudioFormatAppleLossless,
is also tried the kAppleLosslessFormatFlag_16BitSourceData on the
captureFormat
but it didn't help.
is there any settings ex. quality for the lossless format ?
PS I started out real happy by converting to kAudioFormatMPEG4AAC on
the simulator but it did not work on the device.
is there a reason for not having offline non realtime mpeg-4 aac
encoding ?
