libGL in X11 on MacOS X allow forwarding?

    Can anyone clarify this for me? The person packaging ccpnmr for fink
seems to believe that the MacOS X libGL doesn't allow for X11 forwarding
because it does system calls to aqua. I suspect this is only correct for
the system framework version of GL and not for libGL.dylib in /usr/X11R6/lib.
Any clarifications would be most appreciated.
